Discover the causes and impacts of land loss in Southeast Louisiana and explore both natural and man-made strategies used to protect our coast. Participate in hands-on activitie such as modeling erosion, testing storm surge defenses, and investigating restoration methods that you can bring directly into your classroom. All lessons are aligned with Louisiana’s scope and sequence standards, helping students connect topics like ecosystems, human impact, and environmental change to real-world challenges.
